Délegyháza - Hungary - the capital of Hungarian Naturism
The lakes of Délegyháza can be found appr. 15 km from the border of Budapest or the M0 motorway, south along the Danube towards the town Baja on the main road 51. The largest naturist resort at the former mining lake 5.
The only resort which is open all the year round with season or daily ticket.
There are more restaurants and buffets where hot meals and other goods are served. From May to September there are sports and cultural events. There are discos at the weekends and occasionally artists are invited. Tennis can be played on tarmac and the large body of water is ideal for surfing, swimming, sailing and fishing. Among the organised events the most popular one is on August 20 which is traditionally a good fun for children and adults, too.

Szeged-Sziksósfürdõ (Sziki) - Hungary - probably the best choice
From Budapest choose M5 motorway to Szeged. Turn towards Szeged-Kiskundorozsma. Arriving by bus to Szeged you can come by a 7F bus to the last stop, from where at least 1 km on foot if you don't have a car. A sign shows FKK-camp.
Naturist beach and camp in 5 hectares. 2 and 4 bed bungalows are waiting for guests after booking in advance. For tents and caravans there is power supply. Refreshments and hot meals are served. Cooking facilities at an open-air fireplace and at a kitchen. Sports: volley-ball, turul (similar to badminton, but played with different paddle), bowling, table-tennis, and swimming etc. In the evenings pool can be played or satellite TV programs can be watched.

Balatonakarattya - Piroska Camp - Hungary
From Budapest on the motorway M7.

The beach is open between 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. The 2.5 hectare naturist camp at the north bank of Lake Balaton with places for tents caravans, up to 750 visitors. Here you can play tennis and volley-ball as well as surfing facilities and water-bikes are provided.

Balatonberény - Hungary
In the southern part of Lake Balaton in the western corner.

This camp lies directly on the lakeside and is about 6 hectares where appr. 1000 guests can get accomodations, 100 sq m big places for caravans and enough for 150 tents. All the plots have electric supplies. There are two plumbings with continouos cold and hot water as well as washing-machines and spin-driers are provided. Kitchens are well equipped with gas-cookers and sinks.
There are a restaurant, a wine and salad bar, a buffet, a mini supermarket and a little shop which sells beach-goods, newspapers and postcards. The beach can receive 1000 guests. The camp and the beach has a reedy border. The coast is perfect for children. Playground, swings, volley-ball and table-tennis serve entertainment. Sporting goods can be hired.

Other resorts worth visiting
Another significant resort with camping facilities is at Dunaszekcsõ near Baja and Mohács close the southern part of river Danube.
Near Lake Balaton Hévíz is a world famous hot spring. Some kilometers from the textile spa in the outskirts called Nemesbük you can find Angela Farm (Szõlõhegy út 63) which is open all year round.
Next to Debrecen - Eastern Hungary - at Lake Látóképi was another place where one of the first naturist resorts was organised in the mid 80s.
Several tolerated nude beaches are along the river Tisza at Szolnok, Csongrád, Mindszent, Szeged-Algyõ.
Near Miskolc Nyékládháza is the naturist place for the local citizens. In Budapest at Omszki-tó (lake) and Budakalász are CO beaches. Unfortunately they are not calm, safe places and the atmosphere is full of intolerance.
