Grand Hotel Reykjavík is a first-class hotel for business travellers, conference guests and tourists who demand excellent service and facilities. Grand Hotel is now the largest hotel in Iceland with a total of 314 rooms. The hotel is situated in a quiet area within a short distance from all services, recreation and business centres.

All of the hotel 314 rooms are very spacious and equipped with first-class amenities, including an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, large beds, satellite TV, wireless internet, mini-bar, hair dryer, trouser press, coffee maker and a safe. 209 of the rooms are located in the 14 floor tower which was built in 2007. In addition the new rooms have bathrooms with heated tile floors and seperate bathtub and shower stall. Iron & ironboard, etc.

Our hotelguests can enjoy a treatment or a work out in the Grand Spa. The enterance to the spa is not included in the hotel rates but for ISK. 3.900 you will get access to the fitness centre, where you get assistance from a trainer, and to the spa area with sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi and get a nice shoulder and neck massage while you relax.

Our in-house Brasserie Grand is an exclusive a la carte restaurant, which offers a varied and delicious menu to suit every need, whether you prefer a quick bite or a full 4-course dinner menu. Our chefs offer both international delights and mouth-watering, fresh Icelandic seafood specialities. The wine list includes internationally recognized choices.

Grand Hotel Reykjavik has 14 meeting rooms, seating from 6 to 450 persons.
In May 2007 the hotel opened a new extention that offers even more possibilities. We now offer 3 new meeting rooms, 2 board rooms, and 2 receptions rooms. See here a list of the different meeting- banquet- conference rooms at the new Grand.
