Marienlyst has been a popular place to hold conferences – both Danish and international – ever since 1901. The story goes that we were the first place in Denmark to offer conference facilities.
We have continually expanded our facilities ever since, so today the hotel boasts a 5-star conference centre with 11 conference rooms and 9 group rooms, where 2-90 people can work undisturbed and with the large Marienlyst Hall with room for 400 at the top of the range.

The professional equipment, the commitment of our staff, and the other facilities including hotel, Spa & Pool, restaurants and casino, make it an attractive place to come – and an obvious place to put team-building activities into practice.

When there are no waves on the Sound, or the temperature outside does not exactly encourage bathing wear, Marienlyst tempts you with its indoor Spa & Pool.
We have everything for your pleasure and enjoyment: a big swimming pool, a water slide, a children's pool, and a spa with a view of the Sound.
All this makes our Spa & Pool a very popular place to hold children's birthday parties: we provide everything from a decorated table to entertainment.

You can even get a tan indoors in the winter, when the sun shines, because the tanning rays can get through the specially constructed roof. And if you want to really warm your body up, we have a sauna, solaria and massage, not to mention a fitness room with training machines freely available in the hotel's basement.

With its magnificent location directly on the Sound and close to Kronborg Castle, Helsingør Marina, Marienlyst Palace, the Science Museum and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Marienlyst offers conference participants a sea of opportunities as regards activities and social events.

Marienlyst is located next to a very fine sandy beach. Take a swim, go diving or try fishing from one of the cutters operating from the port of Helsingør.

Close to the Marienlyst Hotel you will find tennis courts, badminton courts and golf courses. In the nearby forest you can take a run along the exercise path or go for pleasant walks.
In the hotel you can play billiards, table tennis, darts or try your luck in the international casino. You can also go for a swim in the Spa & Pool with waves, a water chute, and a playground for children.
